We Believe …
- The Holy Bible is God’s revelation of Himself to man. All scripture is totally true and trustworthy.
- There is one and only one true and living God. He reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- God as Father reigns with providential care according to the purpose of His grace.
- Christ is the eternal Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a perfect life and died on the cross in our place, so that we might have forgiveness of sin.
- The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. He Exalts Christ. He convicts men of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. He enlightens and empowers the believer and the church in worship, evangelism, and service.
- Man is the special creation of God, made in His image. Christ died for man — therefore every person of every race possesses full dignity and is worthy of respect and Christian love.
- Salvation is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Those whom God has accepted in Christ, and sanctified by His Spirit will never fall away from the state of grace, but shall persevere to the end.
- God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood, or adoption. Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime.
Why do we go to church?
- To hear and study God’s Word, Worship, and Praise God.
- To obey God’s commands, gain strength for daily living, and establish family values.
- To discover how God has gifted us for service, and how we can serve Him through our church.
- To be a witness in our community as well as fellowship with other Christians.
- To spread the Gospel at home and abroad. (Our church helps to support over 5,000 American missionaries and more than 5,000 international missionaries.)
Jesus said, ” … upon this rock I build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 18:20)
“For where two or three have gathered together in my name, there am I in their midst.” (Matthew 18:20)
Four Spiritual Laws
- God loves you and offers a wonderful plan for your life.
“God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16) - Man is sinful and separated from God. Therefore, he cannot know and experience God’s love and plan for his life.
“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) - Jesus Christ is God’s only provision for man’s sin. Through Him you can know and experience God’s love and plan for your life.
“Christ died for our sins … He was buried … He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures.” (I Corinthians 15:3) - We must individually receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
“As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name.” (John 1:12)
You can receive Christ right now by faith through prayer
“Lord Jesus, I need you. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be.”
